Well, it's kinda hard to define it, actually.

More it's like... a feeling? Yeah, it's like a feeling that something happened in the past couple days.

I can't really pinpoint what it is though, but it's a sensation of something appearing that I haven't felt in quite a while now.

Ah! The Mamoru guy who's been doing the AI tests used it!! His system went super haywire on me so he stepped in to help me duel it and he summoned that in the duel!

He told me afterwards that in the past he was 'possessed by something' after touching a scythe which he said 'may of been an Artifact monster'. I know Scythe was the one who gave his power to Alexandra but Mamoru said he received that Number as a 'blank card' and his deck changed to Burning Abyss after he was possessed.

He said that duel was the first time he'd used any of those cards.

After using it, the card went blank again.

Perhaps Scythe gave his power to Grant, but the... "Everything Else" of Scythe is reincarnating in Mr. Yamada?

He does look like an absolute deadringer.

His appearance is... Disturbingly similar to Scythe's, yes. I noticed that as well when I went to see him, after Kai had his issues with that machine he was working on.

... It's a bit grim to consider, but it's likely this is because this "Mamoru" was essentially the end point for Scythe's consciousness.

Much like Kai and I became the endpoint for Beagaltach and Moralltach? Or do you think there's something else going on?

Well... Like Aegis told Kai: I doubt that Scythe's Core ended up in him, like with you two. The presence of Scythe's weapon in our possession says enough.

With Moralltach and Beagalltach, from what I could gather, they both chose to embed their Cores into the both of you and allowed your consciousnesses to overwhelm them.

With Scythe, however, the situation has always struck me that he simply ceased to exist.

Especially since Scythe's weapon is here... The weapon and the Core can't really exist separately like that, you know?
