Turns out that slowing time to a crawl doesn't stop bombs from going off.

I'm taking it that's something you tried.

I'm wondering how that'd even actually work...

Yeah. I tried to pull them out on to the highway when I fought them and slow down time to stop any collateral damage.

Didn't really work. Highway got busted up too.

Oh, geeze... We really missed a lot... I guess even slowing down time doesn't really stop signals? I wouldn't have thought that...

Is it true though? That it was cause of an Astral Weapon?

Uggh, not good, not good...

I know Dark Mist is really bad, but it really really worries me that an Astral Weapon got here... That might be why you slowing down time didn't work. I dunno the exacts of what happened, but if the explosives were from the Weapon, then it might've worked in spite of the slow down stuff specifically.

I mean, I used my Galaxy Matter Engine to slow down time and that's Astral tech. Sooooooooo.

Well, that's good-- that you beat them up and all--, but I'm worried about whether or not they had any "friends" to send a signal to.

I wish I knew more about that kinda stuff. I'd be able to help then, since this is really risky on the rest of you. I know you guys know the risks about helping us especially, so something like this should've been at least expected, but...

I guess I just don't want to end up seeing you guys getting destroyed, just because you ended up knowing about us. That'd really be the worst-- even if we save our world, it shouldn't mean adding one more onto the list of places that got destroyed.

I should tell the others that one of those things showed up, though, and also that it was working with that Dark Mist thing. That's half the point of this correspondence thing, since we can't really know what happens on Earth without going here.

Labrys has been really focused on beating back any demons that try to get through again, but they haven't been as often, so she's been looking into something. She won't tell us what, though. She seems like she's been kinda hurried though.

Failnaught's been out and around more, which is kinda a relief. I think that... Guy who has Moralltach in him-- Koyo's his name, right? I think him being around really picked up Failnaught's mood a lot.

That Koyo guy's been wandering around the pieces a lot, since it took him a bit to really get used to the atmosphere. I've seen him in the graveyard a lot. ... it's kinda weird, really thinking about it. He's also been looking at a lot of the broken tech we still have around. I think he's trying to get any idea of how stuff might still be able to be used.

Achilles and I are doing fine, but we've been focused on trying to find those corpse pieces that the demons are trying to track down. We've found a few, but... definitely not the whole thing. We have to be careful since we really don't have the ability to fight back against them, if we're found.

And Caduceus... ... well, Labrys told us to avoid talking to Caduceus as much as we can. Which I don't mind, she's always come off as not actually really looking at us, when she starts talking.

... Otherwise, our world isn't much worse off than it was a month ago, other than a few more pieces falling off around the edges of the bigger parts.

If you could...I guess ask them if they know anything about Eliphas or the Numeron Code. Or what "The Dream Must Not End" means.

Hnmm... I can ask them about that, sure. If anyone knows about Eliphas, it'd be Failnaught, at least. The name sounds kinda familiar, so...
