... Yeah, that's about the gist of it. It's a weird simultaneous thing? I don't think I was meant to ever actually know this, basically, so things were really mixed up for a while.

I'd still rather think of myself as Kai, though. I guess think of me as a version of Beagalltach that took on a different name? I know something similar tends to kinda happen with Barians who get repaired, just without the name changes.

We don't talk terribly much about our past selves, or at least no one brings it up with me much.

I wake up confused a lot, I'll admit, so I'm completely there with you.

I spent a while being really confused as to who I was. Like all the memories trying to mix together with no sense or connection to them.

I don't want to feel that again. You get that?

Yeah. That period of stuff of knowing but not having a handle of who you are and not knowing other stuff is a massive pain in the ass.

Well, almost a relief to know it's not just me who's felt it. I guess it's a normal sequence most of the time.

Yeah. And as I said, it's never fun.

Though, Caduceus, from what Failnaught's told me, the one time I was able to get him to actually say something, seems to suffer it the worst. I think?

Urgh, remembering her... she kinda gave me the creeps, actually. Ridiculously secretive.

She's still like that. And getting more creepier and more secretive.

She barely even talks like we're there or we're actually even real.

That's... Bad. I didn't realize she had gotten to that point, if she talks like that.

Maybe the state of the world's getting to her? I dunno. Something always felt really disconnected with her, thinking about it.

Like what she says and what she wants isn't entirely the same.

I don't remember ever really getting it, myself.

I can only imagine how she sounds when she's talking now.
